I did this work in 7th grade. It was an exercise for still life and shading. We had to draw a part of a skeleton(in my case a part of the leg) and shade it properly with a charcoal pencil. The background is created by blowing ink across the page in weird patterns in this case i wanted to show a sort of gradient from light to dark or calm to busy. One of my favorite parts of this work is definitely the shading on the bones it’s probably the best shading I’ve done to date.
